Location Description

This area has a rich and romantic history, which in the 1890s, attracted the well-heeled for its sideshow theatres and pier. Now the bustling CBD for the Gold Coast, Southport's eclectic appeal still remains. Just north of Surfers Paradise, this business, shopping, dining and residential hub overlooks the dazzling Broadwater and Southport Spit, mixing a touch of city spice with natural beauty.

Australia Fair Shopping Centre - Enjoy shopping alongside the beautiful Broadwater in the comfort of the fully air-conditioned Australia Fair Shopping Centre, with over 180 specialty stores and supermarkets.
Broadwater Parklands - Escape to the Broadwater Parklands for a range of fun activities perfect for the whole family. This world class community and cultural parkland is located on the Broadwater side of Marine Parade in Southport, opposite the popular Australia Fair Shopping Centre. There are plenty of shady spots for a picnic across the vast expanse of green or take a dip at the Rockpools water playground, perfect for parents and kids alike!

Shopping can be done locally at Australia Fair, with plenty of specialty shops and a Coles and Woolworths for the groceries.
Southport offers an array of good eats - Some of our office favourites being The Jasmine Room, The Dak Korean Fried Chicken, Cycho's Wings, The Roost and Verdict Expresso. The options are endless with China Town and countless restaurant precincts.
